St.Kevin's got the defence of their APS premiership off to the best possible start with a resounding 13-0 win over Brighton Grammar. All players performed well in their games but there is some improvement needed. Some easy points were lost on service and Sonny Li from Year 6 made his debut in the team and was a winner in the No 8 singles position. Overall, a good result. |

One of the best First XI wins in a long time! A fantastic team effort in all aspects of the match saw SKC chase down a large total with great composure and determination. The boys made all SKC supporters proud of their effort. Too many great individual efforts to mention everyone - 6 great batting efforts and most bowlers bowled well. Nick Packwood on debut was fantastic! |

Despite a nervous start, a strong batting performance lead by Pat O'Connell and the middle order allowed a 200+ total to be posted. This coupled with strong performances from James Deveney and Sam Critchley with the ball ensured victory.

Scotch was restricted to a small total as a result of an impressive SKC performance in the field and with the ball, but nonetheless managed to prevent the resulting run chase from becoming effective.
Best Players: Nick Cropley 34 and 3/21 (including a hat-trick), Harry Fawcett 3/23; |

Our batsmen fell early to be in real trouble at 6/30. Ryan Wilson and Reilly O'Brien added respectability to the total and Lewis Fitzgerald looked dangerous before falling to a great catch. Daniel Commande was the best of our bowlers.

For the first time, APS swimming and diving began their 2010 season at the same time as all the other summer sports. On 14th November, the SKC swimming and diving teams began the defence of their 2009 APS Title competing against Geelong and Melbourne Grammar. Under the leadership of new Captains and Vice Captains of Swimming and Diving, the team performed exceptionally well early in the swimming season overwhelming the opposition winning 28 out of 29 swims and 4 age groups out of 5 in diving. Glendalough boys competed with great enthusiasm and won every race in the U13 age group.
The swimmers broke 4 school records including some long standing records:
U15 Backstroke Relay A. Graham, N. Kett, J. Collins, Z. Morse 2:08.17
U17 Backstroke Relay W. Coates, S. Hickinbotham, D. Wat, M. Pitcher 2:01.39
Open Backstroke Relay A. Morse, T.Coates, L. Liew, D. Gilligan 1:57.85
Open Medley Relay A. Morse, L.Liew, T. Coates, D.Gilligan 1:53.32 |

A very comfortable win, with the only losses being a forfeit due to an absent player, and so a very encouraging start to the season. Best players: Brendan Cain, Manning Mitchell, Mitchell Brady. |

Exciting game with many long rallies against a much taller team. The on-court organisation and the athleticism of our boys proved that they can match it against height. Very nearly went to a fifth set.
Best Players: Mitchell Wallis, Thomas Ruddell, Alex Castricum. |
