This Week at St Kevin's

  • The Year 7 Orientation Day was held and the St Kevin’s Mothers’ Association provided morning tea for Year 7 parents. 

  • Term 1 commenced.

  • The Year 12 Retreat was held at Newman College.

  • Preparatory students commenced classes.

  • The GMA provided morning tea for Years 1 - 6 parents and Preparatory parents. 

  • Kenny students with Mr O’Brien assisted with the preparation and serving of breakfast at St Mary’s House of Welcome.

  • McCarthy students with Mr Macfarlane assisted with the serving of dinner at St Peter and Paul’s in South Melbourne.

  • Student photographs were taken at Glendalough, Waterford and Heyington.

  • The Rowing Association, Fathers’ Association, Mothers' Association and Foundation all conducted meetings.

  • The Waterford Parent Information Evening was held.

  • The Years 10 - 12 House Information Evenings were held.

  • The Year 5 Camp Briefing took place.

  • APS Sports Captains attending a briefing. 

  • Martial Arts, The RoboLego Program and the Chess Club commenced at Glendalough.

  • Year 10 students attended an Introduction to Community Service.

  • The Staff Conference was held.

  • The Year 7A and 7B Retreats were held in the Pavilion.

  • Cusack students and Mr Conti and Ms Burrows assisted with the Breakfast and Sports Program at Trinity Primary School in Richmond.

  • The Glendalough Uniform Shop was open.

  • Friday morning Mass was celebrated in the Chapel of St Kevin.

  • The first Year 10 Dancing Class of the year was held with Loreto Mandeville Hall. 

  • The Welcome to New Parents was held in the Smith Hall.

  • Kearney students and Mr Segal assisted with the St Ignatius Tutoring Program in Richmond.

  • Rahill students and Mr Burns assisted with the Fitzroy Reading Program.

  • The Staff Association held a function. 

  • The State Debating Trials were held at Heyington.
