Instrumental Music Scholarships

For entry into Year 7 2011:

• Applications close: Friday 12 March 2010
• Audition: Saturday 20 March 2010

General Information

The Instrumental Music scholarships will be offered to candidates with the potential to make an outstanding contribution to the musical life of the College.

Scholarships will be awarded to students based on their performances at the auditions and interviews with the Headmaster.

It is recommended that candidates for the Instrumental Music Scholarships be of the following minimum standard:

• Piano and Strings - AMEB Grade 3
• Wind, Brass and Orchestral Percussion - AMEB Grade 2

Audition Venue

St Kevin’s College, Moonga Road, Toorak. Students should assemble at the end of the quadrangle in front of the College Chapel at 1pm. Students and parents will be greeted by the Director of Music, applicants will then be directed to the Audition Rooms. While the auditions are in progress, parents are invited for light refreshments in the staffroom.

Fees

A registration fee does not apply for Instrumental Music Scholarships.
